Romesco soup, it is Spanish sauce recipe that includes ground tomatoes,peppers, onions, garlic, olive oil, and almonds. It can be made as a sauce for pasta, or as a hardy soup. Ingredients; 1/4 cup of olive oil, 4 medium onions, halved and thinly sliced, one teaspoon salt, 12 garlic cloves, minced; one teaspoon hot smoked Spanish or Hungarian paprika, one cup hulled red lentils. Six jars 12 oz each, of diced tomatoes, 2 1/3 cups chicken or vegetable broth, 1 1/3 cups nonfat dried milk, about 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar, roasted almond oil or extra-virgin olive oil for drizzling.
